About BlackandWhite
BlackandWhite is intended to paint my perspective “OF” the public “TO” the public. I am in a marriage that gets coined “interracial” marriage. I really don’t get hung up on titles (as you will see from my writings), but since they can’t just be known regularly and commonly as ‘marriages’, people in my area still have negative connotations when referring to them. The people in North Alabama ARE changing though … (or that ‘old’ crowd is just dying off). Nonetheless, a good deal of my writings will be in direct reference to what goes on (that’s currently newsworthy), and from what perspective the news might have been cast, how it supports or undermines the standing of my familys social well-being in the public eye.
